Welcome Address

the RCI has been established to study T cell reprogramming in diseased tissues and to develop environment-smart
immune cell therapies against cancer and autoimmune disorders using synthetic biology approaches.

In this context, we seek to bring together leading experts from around the world to discuss and design concepts for
the future of synthetic immune cell therapy.

The aim of our RCI-Symposium is to dissect which programs in immune cells critically shape tissue function
in health and disease, which capacities immune cells needed to cure diseased tissues and how immune cells
can be engineered to acquire the desired capacities.

We would be delighted to have you with us in Regensburg and to participate in our RCI-Symposium!
